The Female Assassin dance looks a LOT like a dance out of Shrek, as my guildie said. I'm pretty sure it was the Gingerbread Man (it's been too long :-( ).

Everyone tends to think that if its chinese, its taichi. Haha, I actually somewhat think so too in this case bc it starts out with the rising posture/form, but its fast so it might be a mixture of moves they thought were cool.

Then again, chinese martial art moves arent exclusive to any one style so I'm probably wrong.

They sped it up so they can fit more dance movement into the sequence... we can't really have the monk doing tai chi at the proper pace in such a short dance.
That spinning thing and the splits definatly don't belong in tai chi though and it looks stupid when they forcefully add it in there.

Maybe...just maybe some of these dances you cant put your finger on, are in fact made up, but have been influenced heavily by several existing dances/dance styles.

when the orgins of the female assassin and ranger dances comes into question, i can merely only gaze into the sky, and invision a strippers-pole.
